For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord , and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.
Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.(b)
Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?
I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;(b)
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.
If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me;
